Sexual Violence Education
Committee
The Sexual Violence Education Committee is responsible for implementing and ensuring the continuation of sexual violence education at St. Lawrence. This may manifest in coordinating such programs as "Safe Walk" or in delegating and overseeing other presentations such as "Go Beyond". Members of the Sexual Violence Education Committee are expected to have a thorough understanding of sexual violence issues and are encouraged to be active in a variety of organizations which contribute to the movement.

The chairperson of the Sexual Violence Education Committee participates
in the Sexual Assault Advisory Board (SAAB) in which students, faculty
and staff address the issue of sexual violence in a collaborative manner.
As a member of the Thelomathesian executive board the chairperson is also
expected to work with the whole Senate to maintain awareness and initiate
discussion of sexual misconduct throughout the SLU community.
