Environmental Conservation Committee
This committee is charged with the perpetual improvement of the University's
environmental impact and relationship with the local community. An institution
with the personnel and resources of St. Lawrence, because of its enormity,
footprint, and foresight, must bear a burden of responsibility to the
ecological and economical state of our region above and beyond what is
considered average. This committee is charged with collating and spearheading
the student leadership of campus greening and community relations.
The role of the Environmental Conservation Committee is to:
1. Concern itself with issues pertaining to the environment and usage
of natural resources on campus.
2. Collaborate with the Conservation Council University Committee to create
legislation to enhance preservation of the St. Lawrence University campus.
