In conclusion, Victoria's Secret succeeds in precipitating, persuading, reinforcing and reminding its clientele of its prestige as a company but also in the quality of the product. In advertising its products Victoria's Secret has managed to attain prominence through its imagery of women in lingerie. The depiction of women in these ads immobilizes them by using such provocative techniques. These secularized images of women strips them and confines them to a cage in which she is bound by her own sex. Victoria's Secret furthers this premonition by bordering on pornography. It is increasingly clear that the images of white women and ethnic minorities are separate. However both perpetuate the notion of a helpless, submissive female. Pornography is one of the great ailments of society as it dehumanizes people and as it creeps into advertising it becomes even more visible.
