VIRTUAL TRIP TO RUSSIA. Each student will create a 10-day to 2-week
travel itinerary to Russia, using library and web sources. (Emphasis on
learning how to gather sources, write them up and present them on our
group web site.) DUE: Oct. 1.

ST. PETERSBURG. A group project. Each student will create part of a
composite picture of this Russian city for our web site. Included will be
not only a physical description of the place, but such things as its
history, and its representation in art, literature and music. (Emphasis on
cooperative presentation and in-depth research of one topic.) DUE: Nov.3.

FINAL STUDENTS PROJECTS. Each student will create their own
web-site (which will be linked to the group site) on one very specific topic
related to Russia. Topics can be historical, social, cultural or something else
.
The topic needs to be fully researched, using both print and web resources.
(Emphasis on doing multi-media research, creating an annotated bibliography
of print and web resources, and presenting a summary of one's findings.)
