
Olga, the oldest of the five children was born at the Alexander Palace on November 3, 1895. She was blonde and blue eyed and had her father's nose, she grew quite tall. Olga liked to read newspapers and magazines, she made many friends, especially outside of the court. She was nervous at times and angered easily; she enjoyed time alone. Olga preferred the company of her father to that of her mother; she enjoyed long walks with him in the park and talks with him in his study.
