Student Activists for Global Equity (SAGE)/Progressive Larries
it ain't flower power, IT'S PEOPLE POWER.
Welcome. During the weekend of April 15-17 2000, nearly 40 current St.
Lawrence University Students, numerous alumni, four Clarkson students, and one
professor travelled to Washington, DC, for protests intended to shut down the
International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank. After that weekend, Student Activists for Global Equity (SAGE) was
officially formed. Also the Progressive
Larries network of St. Lawrence alumni was organized. This page chronicles
A16, subsequent SAGE/PLs activities, and also offers resources dealing with related
issues.
