• No.

• Setup location (see this page for photo details):

  

• Aligning the spectrometer is very time consuming! It takes 2 - 3 hours to align 5 spectrometers!
• Place the H-tubes on two wooden drafting boards; elevates to proper height for examination with spectrometer (see details page for photos).
• The instruction manual for the spectrometers is kept with the spectrometers. They provide detailed – if not entirely understandable – instructions for aligning the spectrometer. This document (updated 30 March 2009) has more explicit instructions and photos.
