A few hints:

· There are 6 equally likely shooting orders: BCD, BDC, CBD, CDB, DBC, and DCB.

· If Brian is out and Dennis shoots first at Caldwell, exchanging shots until one is hit, you should show that Dennis wins 5/9 of the time and Caldwell survives the other 4/9.

· Dennis may not be the best shot, but he's very clever and not afraid to think "outside the box".
