Two Joggers
Fred and
Ginger jog in the early morning on a trail through a park. They both maintain a constant speed
(although each jogs at a different speed) throughout their workout. They start at opposite ends of the trail and
pass each other when one of them is 1400 feet from one starting point. When
each reaches the other end of the trail, they immediately turn around and start
back, passing each other again at a point 800 feet from the other starting
point. How long is the trail?
