| ABSTRACT: Given a generating series p(z) = the sum of
pnzn, as n ranges from 0 to infinity, the series of partial sums is P(z)
= p(z)/[1 - z] = the sum of Pnzn, as n ranges from 0 to infinity. For a
special class of generating series, we consider the question of when P(x)P(y)/P(xy)
- sum of amnynxm satisfies amn is non-negative for
all non-negative m,n. |
