John James Audubon’s single-minded drive towards his world renowned
work enabled him to pursue and complete the discovering and painting of
North American birds and quadrapeds. John James Audubon. This paper
describes the life and work of John James Audubon. His incredible
drive for completing his projects resulted in his becoming successful and
popular. Audubon put a huge amount of effort into his work, willing
to sacrifice spending years away from his family and wife to achieve his
goal(s). Audubon put his work before practically any thing else.
No matter the situation or place, he’d always be doing something work related.
Whether it was looking for new species of bird, painting or finding new
customers, he was always working. Audubon traveled all over the US
collecting birds and other wildlife while at the same time while at the
same time painting to increase his portfolio. Audubon was never satisfied
with his work. He had to always find more birds, improve his technique,
or had to be doing something work related. The decision to create
Birds of America and other works was a decision that changed his life.
Audubon devoted his life to the job process and the result was absolute
success.
