Acid rain is and on going problem in the United States and the rest of the world.  It is still a problem due to the technology resolutions that have seemed to fail in the past.  The process taken to resolve this problem is more complicated than the first attempts in the past.  Many people overlook the problem of acid rain and do not think this problem still exists.  When trying to find the solution to acid rain there are many guidelines and issues that must be taken into perspective before experimenting with it.  The rules and guidelines that are in affect right now consist of some important information and some is not, considering acid rain is still a problem then some documentation is a failure.  The real question is why acid rain is still a problem and why wasn’t it solved the first time?  Those questions are very important to today’s technology on solving the acid rain problem and not making the same mistakes as in the past.

The effects of acid rain in the United States has sky rocketed since the last notice of a problem.  The reason for this is simply because production has been up in the U.S. in the last ten years.  This country is becoming more industrial every year and what is gained from this is a good economy but what is disguised and hidden is the increase in acid rain.  The industrial industry puts 23% more toxins into the air then it did twenty years ago.  In this day and age you might think the technology would solve that problem.  The other important effect of this is the eco system.  The eco system has been greatly affected by these pollutants, which these power plants and mills let out into the air.  The last Clean Air Act that was issued was in 1990.  Along the lines of technology I think its time to make a new Act.  There have been fascination discoveries in technology in the last three years and I think the acid rain problem could benefit from it.

I think acid rain is an ongoing problem and it needs to be fixed.  There are so many people that do not understand how much of a problem it still is or choose to not see it.  All in all I think we need to figure out some more resolutions to solve this ongoing problem.  It is only going to get bigger and bigger.  The eco system is not something to mess around with it is a serious situation and it really needs to be taken care of before something bigger happens.  I believe this problem cannot be fully resolved but it can be cut down.
