Graham Baird '98 Awarded GSA Student Research Grant.
Announced in the September 2003 Issue of GSA Today on page 22.

    This grant will be used to und part of Graham's Ph.D. research. Graham's research interests are broad ranged but is generally focused on the structural geology of highgrade metamorphic rocks and the tectonics which led to their  deformation and metamorphism.  He spends a lot  of time in the  field.  In addition to field work, Graham's research also includes detailed structural analysis, metamorphic petrology,  geochronology, as well as other techniques.  He is currently continuimg to work in the NW Adirondacks of New York (part of the Grenville Province), and is starting research in the Calidonides of northern Sweden with his advisor Peter Hudleston.
