University of Southern California REU, May 31 - August 7, 2010. Housing, meals, travel costs and student health center fee are included. Broad selection of research groups in inorganic/biochemistry/ Physical/theoretical and organic/materials chemistry. Open to sophomores or juniors who are US citizens or permanent residents. Bioengineering and Bioinformatics Summer Institute (BBSI), Summer Research in Computational Biology, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dates: May 26 - July 31, 2009. Clemson University/NSF: Summer Undergraduate Research program (SURP). May 24 - July 31, 2009. Rising junior or rising senior with at least 15 credits in chemistry. US citizen or international student holding an F-1 or a J-1 visa. Some positions reserved for female (60%) and minority students. Stipend of $4500 for 10 weeks, dormitory accommodations and travel supplement. Deadline for receipt of complete application package: March 2, 2009. NNIN - National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network. (http://www.nnin.org) Fourteen participating sites, 13th year of the program, over 75 positions available. Application deadeline: February 11 online, or February 18th (receipt of paper application). Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents at time of application. Female and minority applications encouraged. 10 week program with stipend, travel and housing funds.
