Student Positions

All employment is competitive and demonstration of personal integrity and maturity is paramount to acceptance.

Teaching Assistants: Typically, TAs are students who have taken the course for which they are hired to assist. Students who are interested in serving as teaching assistants need to contact the appropriate faculty member. Students interested in serving as General Biology TAs should contact Margaret Harloe and obtain an application from him or outside of the General Biology Laboratory.

Laboratory Assistants: Students interested in working in the department to prepare reagents, wash dishes, clean labs, and maintain facilities such as the green house, aquaria, and museum, should contact Marlene Kotz to obtain an application.
