Biomedical Summer Undergraduates Research Experience (B-SURE) at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San AntonioIt is restricted to 2nd or 3rd year students in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or Math.  10-weeks
Visit http://b-sure.uthscsa.edu/.  Stipend is between $3000-4000, based on travel and accommodation needs. Accommodations will be within walking distance of campus. Students choose the lab they wish to work in and present their work at a symposium at the end of the program. University of Nevada-Las Vegas Physics Dept.  Summer 2007 program for U.S. Citizens or permanent residents majoring in physical sciences or engineering.  10 weeks (June 4 – August 10), meals and lodging will be provided.  There is no application form. 2007 Nanotechnology Summer Internships. National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network (NNIN), 10 week program, stipend, travel and housing.  One on-line application for 60+ available positions.   Visit http://www.nnin.org.  Application deadline: February 19, 2007.

National Undergraduate Fellowship in Plasma Physics and Fusion Energy Sciences administered by the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory. Dates: June 11–August 17, 2007.  It consists of a one-week introductory course in the basic elements of plasma physics, held at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, followed by a nine-week research assignment at one of the participating universities or national laboratories.  Stipend of $4,800 plus travel to and from their university or permanent U.S. address. Applications for the 2007 Program are invited from students in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or physics, who are matriculated at a U.S. College or University and are U.S. citizens. Open to undergraduates who are currently in their junior year.
