Curriculum Plan for 3+2 Chemical Engineering Major

Students in this program combine three years at St. Lawrence with two years at one of the following engineering schools: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Columbia University, University of Rochester, Clarkson University, University of Southern California, and Washington University of St. Louis.   Upon completion students receive a bachelor's degree from each institution.  A minimum of 25 semester units must be earned at St. Lawrence, including 8 chemistry courses (103-104, 221-222, 205, 341-342, 351 or 352)

Other required courses - Four Math courses (135, 136, 205, 230), two physics courses (151, 152), and one computer science course (140 or 219) are required at St. Lawrence.  Note that the calculus and physics courses are prerequisites for physical chemistry 341-342 which is typically a third-year chemistry sequence)
