BIOL101, BIOL102: The General Biology courses (BIOL101, BIOL102) are open to all students. BIOL 101 and BIOL 102 are designed for freshman and repesent the introductory courses for biology majors and minors. These courses also serve as "the year of general biology" required by many professional schools. We strongly recommend that you take BIOL101 first, although it is not a prerequiste for BIOL102.
